Fred is an Emmy award-winning director who was born in Haiti and grew up in New York City. He received a BA from Yale and an MFA from New York University. His shorts have played and won at festivals throughout the world, and his work has been viewed on television, at art galleries and even on a billboard in Times Square!
He worked in reality TV post-production in Los Angeles before turning to political filmmaking in Washington, DC. Fred served as one of the three official filmmakers and photographers for Bernie Sanders’s 2016 presidential run, helping to shape the visual narrative of a landmark campaign.
Apart from filmmaking, he also spent time in Bulgaria as a Fulbright Scholar and in Spain as a Master’s program English teacher.
He is currently based between Los Angeles and Madrid, where he continues to write narrative scripts while producing digital documentaries, political ads and branded content.
